carousel week 3-Media Production

 live editing suite Actors on set view from camera A2- Primary and Secondary Research This week for our carousel we were in Media and we had to produce an advert for the Bic four colours biro. To start of we were spilt into four different groups to come up with our advert ideas and add in details about lighting, cameras and music we could use. My group came up with an advert about a school's media lesson setting with 4 main characters each wanting the pen for a different reason one for marking; drawing, writing and underlining. Each person would also use a different colour of the pen, either red, blue, black or green and we would have each person have a different method on gaining the pen. One would crawling between the desks and another would distract the someone using it. We then were required to pitch our ideas to the whole group before voting on who's idea was best. The Hunted Interactive film website. On our website we have decided to go for the colour scheme of Blue and white. This is because they both work well together to create a professional look.This is much like facebook's colours which represent professionalism but also interactivity and entertaining.These are all element we want to show in our website. The first thing the audience will see on our website is the pop up video which will include the video itself,however whilst we edit our footage we will also make a quick trailer to show there instead.There is a close option so that if they don't want to watch the video they can easily close it and later on watch it by clicking on the the trailer tab on the top bar. However compared to The Darkest Hour website they have made their homepage a lot simpler whilst still showing all the information required.They have opted for a moving background which really helps to engage...

Carousel week 1-Art and Design

A1-Eviden ce        pencil drawing  broad fine liner and water sharpie and fine liner   2A Research: Primary and Secondary Research Throughout this week we have been investigating Foley's sound. Foley's sound is the music and noises added during the editing of a product. Foley's Sound is extremely famous in Hollywood in which they are tremendously creative in making the noises and sounds used throughout a film; They use everyday objects such as rice to make the noise of rain. To practise making our own Foley sounds we watched the popular shower scene in psycho however this scene was muted and so we had to carefully watch for any actions that would usually make a noise. We wrote a cue sheet and listed all the sounds we could think of. Then we had to decide how we would recreate each of these sounds.
