When filming a self shooting interview it's important to make the interviewee comfortable with the interviewer and the camera.By doing this an interviewer should set the camera up besides them,over their shoulder,our keeping within the 180 degree rule.The 180 degree rule is  when the camera is situated in a specific way to make sure that the audience doesn't get confused during the interview.If this rule is broken the interviewee and interviewer will seem to have switched places when intact they haven't and this will confuse the audience. Another tip is to keep eye contact with the interviewer whilst your interviewing them.This makes it more relaxed and comfortable especially if you don't constantly look down at your questions as it will allow the interview to flow easily. Carousel-week 2 Fashion

A1-Evidence Design at the end of the first day. Swatches we made (Above before heat press) Appliques made with Bondaweb A2-Primary and Secondary research We had a lot of primary evidence, this is because Fashion is a very hands on and so we were allowed to use a sewing machine and iron to help create our designs. We made Appliques using Bondawebs. We were first taught everything and then we were allowed to pick our own small image and make the applique. This week for the carousel we went to the fashion department to design an imaginary TV's Crew t-shirt for them to wear. We used disperse dyes to create said designs. These dyes began as powder until water is added. Each dye came out as an earthy colour and so at first we didn't know what colour was which. So to begin with we had to make swatches so that we would know what the colours would come out as after being heated in the heat press that heated up to 180 degrees! Foley's Sound Editing Review

Today we were given the task to edit our Foley's sound recordings, that we filmed a couple of weeks ago, into the muted shower scene from Pyscho. We had used a Cue sheet when recording to know which sounds were to be made and with what objects out of the ones given. This was so we could keep track on what was recorded and what wasn’t. The cue sheet made the task a lot easier as we made a list before starting to record so we knew what sounds we were going to recreate and with what objects. Foley’s sound is the recreation of everyday sounds that you would usually hear in a film. These can range from something simple like footsteps to something much bigger such as a thunderstorm. Foley’s sound is most commonly used to enhance the audio in a video; also, if the audio doesn’t come out well it is most often used then.
